My Last Young Birthday
Well this past Wednesday I turned 29--my last young birthday. The reason I call it that is because I remember as a child my older female relatives telling me that they were turning 29. I would laugh and say, "You turned that last year." It's funny how fast life has gone by. I can still remember my first day of pre-kindergarten. Before this year is over, my son will be having his first day!I'm grateful life has been good to me so far, but I can't wait until next year when I officially enter adulthood. Yes, technically I am an adult, but when you are in your twenties you can not have your act together and it's okay. Once you are in your thirties, you are supposed to have your life planned. Wait a minute...Maybe I can wait, and I better enjoy this last year!

Our Holidays
Hey Everyone!
We had a great Christmas and New Years, and we hope you did, too. Santa brought Dillon a racetrack and Alyssa a kitchen. Dillon woke up super early Christmas morning, and instead of coming to our room as usual, he went straight downstairs to see what Santa brought. He came back up really excited and said, "Santa was here! He got me the racetrack I wanted and Alyssa a kitchen!" It was really cute because this was the first Christmas he has been totally aware of the idea of Santa. Alyssa woke up later and we took her downstairs to see what Santa brought, and she went straight to the racetrack. The kitchen got no love! That's my little tomboy! Don't worry they both play with the kitchen, but initially the racetrack got all the attention! Then we opened the other presents under the tree from family and friends. After playing with the new toys we headed to Tommy's parents (where we stayed for a few days) where the kids got showered with even more presents. After all that we sang Happy Birthday to Baby Jesus and had some birthday cake. It was a long fun day!
Our New Years was also fun. We spent it with my parents and some friends. After that week, the everyone was exhausted!
